Welcome to My Sub 3 Hour Journey. Follow my progress as I work towards completing a sub 3 hour marathon. I’m a bigger guy so this is going to be a two tiered goal. Getting my weight under control while training regularly and staying injury free is going to be a challenge. My two strategies to manage these are using Phil Maffetone’s 180 formula to train at my Maximum Aerobic Function and following a meat only diet which is high fat and low carb. I’ll be honest and say that going meat only is a pretty controversial starting point, but you can read more about that in my story
